DETROIT (AP) — Candidates for governor are criss-crossing Michigan in a last-minute push for votes ahead of Tuesday's primary.
Ann Arbor businessman Rick Snyder stopped Saturday morning at a farmers' market in Detroit.
He shook hands with potential voters and even picked up a few items to go at Eastern Market, including a jar of pickles and a pork sausage pierogi.
Democratic governor's candidate Andy Dillon enjoyed a breakfast of scrambled eggs and hash browns and addressed a few dozen supporters at JJ's Steak and Pizza House in Alpena.
The House speaker faces Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero in the primary.
On the Republican side, Snyder's opponents are Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard, Attorney General Mike Cox, state Sen. Tom George and U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra.
